What support does GLPG provide to its clinicians?

We provide full support for your practice.

This means that we take care of your billing, scheduling, and marketing while you focus on the most important thing: your clients.

Can clinicians see clients online and/or in-person?

With GLPG, you can set up your practice however you like. We offer in-person, hybrid, and 100% online practice options to allow you to choose the model that works best for you.

Does GLPG have a non-compete clause?

We don’t have a non-compete clause. That means you can see clients outside of your practice with us, and we won’t restrict client movement if they choose to follow you when you leave.

How long does it take to get started?

Clinicians can get started in as little as 30 days.

An Account Manager will work with you to ensure we stay on track for your start date.

Does GLPG have an EMR system?

We built an electronic medical record specifically for psychotherapists. Harbor, our EMR system, is browser-based, which means you can access it from anywhere and on any device that’s connected to the internet. This gives you the ability to review and complete notes from your mobile device, laptop, or desktop computer—wherever you may be.

In addition to being able to access the EMR system from anywhere, it is also very user-friendly and easy to learn!

What are the office spaces like?

Our prime concern is that our offices provide a space for clients to relax and feel at ease. Each office is furnished with all the furniture needed for sessions, and therapists are able to provide additional furniture and decor as needed. We also provide private waiting rooms with convenient, easy-to-use mobile check-in for clients.

How was GLPG started?

GLPG was formed in 2011 by a small group of therapists who shared the same passion for helping others. We are still therapist owned and operated to ensure the highest level of care.

GLPG has grown rapidly since its inception. We now work with hundreds of clinicians to offer mental health services to clients throughout the Mid-West.

How do referrals and marketing work?

GLPG employs time-tested and proprietary marketing strategies to generate high-volume referrals in any business climate. You can expect to build a thriving practice in as little as 2-3 months using our referrals alone. After you’ve built your practice, we will always have referrals available if you decide to increase your caseload.

Will I need to do my own marketing?

Your focus is 100% on providing psychotherapy to clients. You do not need to worry about acquiring clients. Our marketing efforts can supply your practice with a steady flow of clients all year round.

Can clinicians market for themselves?

While GLPG can attain all the clients your practice will need without your marketing assistance, you are free to market yourself as well.

Do clinicians get involved in billing?

Focus on patients and let us handle all the hard work. GLPG automatically bills your claims as soon as you complete the notes. GLPG provides full-cycle billing services on your behalf and collects at a 97% or better rate.

What types of insurance does GLPG accept?

We accept most private insurances and Medicare. Some examples of the private insurances we accept include:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Blue Care Network
  • Aetna
  • HAP
  • United Behavioral Health
  • Cofinity
  • Cigna
  • Beacon
  • And more!

If you would like to know what insurances we accept in your state, please contact your Provider Growth Specialist.

Does GLPG help with credentialing?

Yes, we do. We have a team of credentialing specialists who are dedicated to helping you get credentialed with insurance companies. We’ll guide you through the process, help you complete each step, and track each application until acceptance.

Our credentialing specialists are also available to answer any questions that you may have throughout the process.

What if I am already credentialed with some insurances?

Our goal is to get you credentialed as quickly as possible, so we’ve designed our process to take into account any existing credentialing that you have in place. We work with you to make sure that any current or future credentialing plans are not disrupted.

How does scheduling work?

You have the freedom to set your schedule and maintain scheduling flexibility. Any exceptions to your preferred schedule require your personal authorization. You choose how many people you want to work with, and you are in full control of your schedule.

Do clinicians have the ability to set their own practice preferences?

Because we want to build a practice that suits your style, we give clinicians the opportunity to set up practice preferences that align with their specialties. This way, we ensure that you are working within an environment that is comfortable for you and provides a positive experience for the patients.

Are clinicians required to see a minimum number of clients?

GLPG gives you full freedom to determine how many clients you would like to see. You can set your own schedule, and you are in control of the number of clients you see per day.

Are there opportunities to collaborate or consult with other clinicians?

Yes! Whether in-office or online, many of our clinicians have formed peer-consultation groups and regularly consult with their colleagues at GLPG. We also provide virtual collaboration opportunities and access to our entire network of clinicians for discussion and resource sharing.

Does GLPG offer trainings and educational seminars?

GLPG has a team dedicated to clinical education. We regularly provide virtual educational opportunities to our clinicians, both live and recorded. The team also helps to develop and implement new educational opportunities so that our clinicians can continue to build their skill set and stay on the cutting edge of their field.
