Life is constantly changing and you do not have to face challenges alone. I provide a non-judgmental space where we can work to help you become the best version of yourself. Because no two people are the same, I work using a variety of therapeutic techniques to best fit you and/or your child. I use a strengths-based approach to therapy and incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation, art, and play (for children). I am a licensed clinical social worker and have my master’s degree in social work from The University of Michigan where I focused on mental health. I have worked with children and their caregivers who have survived trauma as well as with adults who have severe mental illness. Making the choice to trust someone to hear your life stories is brave and I will provide an open, caring, safe, and empathetic atmosphere for you to grow.
