About Julie Middlin, LPC, NCC

Clinton Township

You are your own expert. I am here to reassure, assist and guide you in overcoming the challenges you are facing. I have a passion for working with children and families, possessing extensive experience in helping to manage challenging behaviors at home and school. Special areas of interest include life transitions-career change, grief and loss, preparing for college, empty nesters, divorce or retirement. I’d like to aid you in developing, forming and nurturing long-term healthy relationships with yourself and others. I support individuals that identify as LGBTQI and their families, with additional training and resources. In addition to an MA in Counseling, from Oakland University, I also have over 20 years experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, holding both an MS and BS in Sports Medicine. My previous experience provides me with the added ability to assist you in overcoming stress and performance anxiety in any area of life, as well as providing a strong wellness focus. I believe in linking the mental and the physical through mindfulness, physical exercise, exposure to nature, and positive psychology. Lastly, I am strongly committed to community and volunteerism having donated my time to Special Olympics for over 25 yrs.
