Life presents many stressors that leave us feeling overwhelmed, alone and unsure of where to go next. Perhaps you are experiencing anxiety or depression, problems in marital or family relationships, experienced a loss, or having difficulty deciding what direction to go with your career. I use a compassionate, holistic approach to counseling that allows you to explore your thoughts, feelings and actions in a safe, supportive and judgement free environment. I will work along side of you to create goals for your treatment and help you take steps towards reducing your stressors and achieving a better version of yourself.
I obtained my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University in 2008. I have experience in working with children (as young as 3), adolescents and adults of all ages. I treat a variety of presenting problems/conditions including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, parenting concerns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, divorce and anger management.
As a part of a holistic approach to wellness I incorporate education and skill development into the therapeutic process to assist clients in gaining the skills needed to have long lasting wellness.
