My focus in counseling is helping people explore behavioral and emotional patterns that inhibit a person’s ability to live a flourishing life. I come along the side of my clients and, together, help them begin to make the changes they desire in their lives. Through exploration of one’s own experiences, emotions, and thoughts, my client’s find growth, healing, and hope. I work with adolescent, adults, couples, and families who experience relational issues, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and faith.
My approach comes from a mix of person-centered, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy. I have studied Interpersonal Neurobiology, a study of understanding and developing a healthy mind, and apply this to counseling as well.
