I received my master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University in 2011. I have over 9 years of experience working with adults and teens with substance abuse, behavioral issues, trauma, school issues, family relationships, self esteem, eating disorders, and self harming behaviors. My prior experiences include working in residential treatment, intensive outpatient, outpatient, group therapy, family therapy and individual treatment. My approach focuses on person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
