I believe that the key to your mental wellbeing lies within you. Since earning my master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017, I have worked with diverse populations and a wide range of ages, from children to older adults. I have experience treating various conditions, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), dissociative disorders, family conflict, and social anxiety. My goal as your counselor is to facilitate a collaborative relationship with you in the driver's seat. We will work together to identify anything that is affecting you at home, work, school, socially, etc., with the ultimate goal to help you reach your full potential. There are many reasons to come to therapy outside of being in a crisis. Therapy will allow you to work on issues that you have been dealing with silently throughout your life which cause distress and, ultimately, inhibit your personal growth and discovery of your life’s purpose. Any issue you come with will be unique to you, and I am excited to tailor the experience to your specific needs. I look forward to empowering you with the skills needed to become your own therapist. My main treatment approaches include person-centered and CBT. I am fluent in Arabic (multiple dialects) and welcome clients looking to work with a counselor who identifies with their Islamic background. Therapy will be a judgment-free place, where you can share anything openly. I would love the opportunity to work with you and will do my best to ensure that this is an experience you grow from.
