I became a therapist because I believe in the power of people who have the courage and strength to grow and change their lives. As a person-centered therapist, I am passionate about helping everyday people improve the quality of their lives.
I work with clients from a strength-based perspective; with clinical strengths in depression, anxiety, trauma, family and relationship issues, life transitions, grief and loss, faith-based counseling and women's issues that include pregnancy and post-partum depression. I offer clients a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space for discovery, growth, and healing. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities and techniques with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.
It is a privilege to be trusted with the life stories of courageous people. I am grateful that my job is to support them during the most challenging times in their lives. If you're ready to get started, please reach out to connect. I look forward to meeting you.
I received my Master's degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 14 years of experience in the mental health field.
