I am a clinical counselor with 11 years of experience as a therapist, and 30 years of mental health experience in various capacities.  My work as a therapist has primarily focused on working with young and older adults dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, anger, relationship conflict, chemical dependency, trauma, and life adjustment. I see everyone as unique and take a personalized approach to each person who comes to me for help believing that we all have the innate ability to overcome our challenges and live our best life.

I use various “evidence-based” therapeutic approaches which primarily involve Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and have experience using EMDR.  These approaches can help you with sorting out feelings and having your life working for you; instead of against you.

If given the opportunity to be a part of your recovery process, I can help to provide you a safe environment in which you can feel comfortable with looking at alternative ways and approaches to finding the solutions to the struggles which you bring you into the counseling session.
