Do you find yourself often feeling resentful and angry towards others or perhaps you feel held back from achieving your goals due to immobilizing anxiety or depression? I am a licensed clinical social worker with six years of counseling experience assisting individuals and families accomplish their person-centered goals and am looking forward to assisting you to gain the tools you need to get unstuck and move forward. I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University in 2015 and have worked with a diverse population in the past six years helping individuals across the lifespan utilizing a strength-based approach. I have assisted individuals with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, and compulsive disorders gain the skills they were so desperately searching for in order to live a more fulfilling life. I recognize there is no one size fits all in therapy, and as your counselor, I will help you to create your own unique goals and tailor my interventions based on your individual needs and goals utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and the Gottman Method for healthy relationships. As your therapist, I will use a nonjudgmental and strengths-based approach to assist you with achieving your goals, in addition to humor when possible and appropriate. My specialty areas include anxiety, self-esteem and body image, marital/relationship issues, emotional regulation, and healthy boundary setting to reduce feelings of anger and resentment. I look forward to meeting with you and providing you the support and encouragement you need towards an improved quality of life.
