Life doesn’t go all right but it shouldn’t be going all wrong either. Because you are reading through therapist posts, it might be that you are looking for more support or possibly some kind of change. Often we get stuck in repetitive kinds of thinking and just need someone to help process ideas. That’s where I come in – I represent an outside perspective. I’ve worked in the field of therapy for many years so my knowledge comes from education but also experience interacting with others. In addition, the field of therapy is my second career so I have personal experience both inside and outside of the field. With respect to therapy, I have assisted clients with depression and anxiety. I have special interest in life transitions. Also, one of my internships was at Hospice and I have a personal focus in bereavement counseling. My approach to therapy is eclectic. In addition, I have training in cognitive therapy, solution focused therapy and DBT. Making the first call to a therapist can feel like a big step but it can also take you on a path where you are no longer feeling like you are facing life alone. Why not give it a try?
