Counseling is an avenue for moving ahead in life by solving the problems that block this process. These issues involve many areas of life including relationships, disappointments, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, losses, abuse, failures, transitions, traumas, lifestyles, belief systems, aging, medical problems, addictions, personality disorders, self-esteem, dependency, and addictions. The way to solve these problems involves talking about the real issues and feelings with someone who is accepting and understanding, learning new information, experimenting with new behaviors, taking some risks, and evaluating the results. I have been able to assist adult individuals struggling with all of the above-mentioned problems. My approach is through cognitive, behavioral, and emotional pathways (REBT), enabling clients to discover the keys to making the changes they desire. I would consider it a privilege to be of assistance to you. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor. I also hold licenses from the state of Michigan as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Nurse (RN). I have maintained a private counseling practice since 2000 and have been nursing for many years.
