Some days we look in the mirror and wonder how we got to this point. When life gets off track from what we had dreamed, it can be healing to examine the path we took to get here and explore the best steps to move toward living our most fulfilling life. My goal in therapy is to help you examine experiences, beliefs, relationships, thoughts, and feelings - and to identify changes that you can make to work toward your goals. I want to provide you with a safe place to find yourself and lay the foundation for a life of fulfillment. I know making the decision to begin therapy takes courage and I strive to provide the necessary tools to help you grow in the direction you are seeking.

My clinical practice has been broad and I have worked with adults and adolescents experiencing a wide range of difficulties. My passion is to help people heal after experiencing trauma. I have worked extensively with adults and adolescents who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect or abandonment. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, substance use, and other addictions for both men and women. I utilize a psychodynamic approach, which examines your past experiences and belief systems, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you replace unhelpful ways of thinking and coping with difficult emotions. My goal is to help you move past your pain and guide you to feeling whole again.

I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. My master’s degree is in Forensic Psychology and I have extensive experience working with individuals involved in the legal system, those who have been victims of crime, and those who work in the legal system in any capacity.
