I earned my degree from Oakland University’s Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program in 2019. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 2010 at Fort Lewis University in Durango, Colorado.

I enjoy working with a variety of clients from all walks of life and welcome diversity. I have experience working with clients who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, PTSD, combat exposure, Anger Management, Grief/Loss, and Life Transitions. My clinical approach can best be described as eclectic, as every individual will respond differently to various styles, approaches and modalities of treatment. I enjoy Cognitive based Approaches, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Existential Psychotherapy, Person-Centered, Solution-focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing when applicable in therapy.

It is an honor and a privilege for me to assist those in search of positive change, happiness, life satisfaction, and achieving their personal goals. I am passionate about making every client feel totally safe, heard, understood and respected during their journey to personal growth to facilitate a deeper level of self-awareness and strong therapeutic relationship. I am very excited to be a part of the GLPG TEAM.

It is my goal to one day focus on Veterans’ Issues in counseling and making whatever contributions I can to erase the stigma of help-seeking behaviors among military personnel as well as assist veterans with their transition from service-member to civilian. I served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. I was honorably discharged after my second tour of duty to Afghanistan in 2015.
