Finding a therapist whose experience, skills, and style best meet your needs is an important part of achieving the growth, change, or healing you are hoping for. As a clinician with over 25 years of experience, my goal is first to understand you, your circumstances, and where you have come from to help you achieve your goals and improve your wellbeing. My training includes both a doctoral and master’s degree in social work and areas of specialty practice working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, addictions, grief and loss, and issues related to past hurts, life transitions, and relationships and family problems. I also hold a master’s degree in pastoral counseling and specialize in Christian counseling for those seeking a faith-based perspective. My treatment approaches include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, person-centered, and trauma-informed strategies informed by a person-in-environment perspective. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you toward a brighter future.
