The primary focus of my approach as a therapist is to work on modifying thinking and behavior patterns that are unhealthy and ineffective. My goal is to help you elicit change and find your inner strength so that you are more comfortable with yourself, the choices you make and can better cope with life's challenges. I will assist you in gaining clarity and purpose. We will work on past issues but focus on resolving them and moving forward. I will help you integrate your past experiences with your current thoughts, feelings and behaviors to support change and to improve the quality of your life.
Your commitment to the process of change will be an important contributing factor in therapy. We can work together to help you gain insight, self awareness and strength. We will do all of this collaboratively and at a pace that is comfortable for you. I look forward to working with you!
