Deciding to seek therapy is a courageous step toward improving your life situation, and finding the right therapist is an important part of that process. Since 2013, I have been a Professional Counselor in Michigan and have worked in various settings including clients' homes and schools, crisis stabilization centers, and outpatient mental health offices. I know that a successful experience in therapy begins with the development of a genuine and honest connection between client and therapist, and I work to provide my clients with a non-judgmental, supportive, and safe therapeutic environment that gives them that space to be honest and open. It is in this space that we can explore and address the concerns that bring you to therapy. Using various evidence-based techniques and modalities, I seek to help individuals explore the patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior that are not working for them or that are causing pain, and to work collaboratively with them to build new patterns that are healthy and functional.
