She is a fully licensed professional counselor. She believes that the potential for growth and healing lies within every person, and her role as a therapist is to serve as a companion and guide on her client's path to personal development. Dr. Pearson actively strives to establish a safe and supportive environment to allow for honest discussion, self-awareness, and collaboration toward identified goals. She recognizes that life patterns are often influenced by past experiences and believes that gaining insight through a new perspective can foster reconnection to the true self.

Dr. Pearson integrates several styles of therapy to work in partnership with clients and uses a social justice perspective that acknowledges the ways that identity shapes experiences. She delivers therapy through a holistic, strengths-based lens, meaning that treatment is guided by the unique needs of each individual and their cultural worldview. She is trained to work with a variety of presenting issues including life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, relationship concerns, body image, and chronic pain.
