Jackie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a National [Board] Certified Counselor (NCC) and has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years in a variety of roles and settings. She completed her master's level education and training at Concordia University of Chicago, where she obtained her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017. The majority of Jackie's clinical experience includes working primarily with adolescents and young adults, as well as treating complex & simple trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulty with assertiveness & boundary setting, and general interpersonal relationship issues. She is passionate about working with LGTBQIA+ individuals, and has experience working with clients who identify as transgender, gay, bisexual, pansexual, and gender fluid. Her approach is direct, yet sensitive & compassionate, while utilizing trauma-informed and culturally sensitive models of care.
