Janice Dickerson is a Licensed Master Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) whose purpose is to provide a compassionate and empathic atmosphere.
Janice graduated from Wayne State University with her masters degree in social work. Upon graduation, Janice worked in a psychiatric hospitalization setting in which she would conduct individual, group, and family sessions. Janice has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship/family changes and other life transitions. She believes in empowering clients and is passionate about her work.
Janice implements Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in her practice and allows space for reflection, healing and growth. Her approach is person-centered. She encourages and supports clients and guides the therapeutic process.
