Education

  • School:
    Wayne State University
  • Degree:
    Master of Social Work

As a Clinical Social Worker, I believe it is important to consider the entire person as well as the environment in which they function. As individuals, we are complex beings that deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of the situations in which we find ourselves. Each of us is more than a diagnosis, and the relationships we cultivate in therapy can be a gateway to rising above our perceived limitations to build a life of richness, connection, and joy.

I aim to provide a nurturing, safe environment where individuals are free to explore the issues that may be holding them back. I draw from many theoretical frameworks, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and experiential approaches. Additionally, my experience in settings from inpatient hospitals to wilderness programs provides a wide range of perspectives on the therapeutic process at work across many age groups and environments.

Therapy is a collaborative and powerful experience that enables us to achieve a level of satisfaction with our lives that may be difficult for some to attain otherwise. It is my honor and privilege to be a part of this process, and I look forward to meeting with you.
