I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Illinois with a number of years of professional experience working in mental health clinics, nursing facilities, and private practice. I received both my Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and I am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Psychopharmacology. In therapeutic practice, I have worked with individuals and couples to assist them in meeting their goals in a variety of settings such as mental health clinics and private practice. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, women’s issues, and alcohol use although I have experience with a wide variety of challenges. I also specialize in psychological and neuropsychological testing including evaluations for ADHD, ASD, and dementia.

I use a variety of approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, positive psychology, and emotion focused therapy depending upon the client’s or couple’s unique needs and input on what techniques work best. I find this collaborative perspective leads to treatment success as the therapy is custom tailored to the individual or couple. You and I will meet as a team to assist you in living your life to the fullest. I believe that with an individual’s or couple’s commitment to change, their own innate strengths, and some guidance that everyone can achieve their best selves. I am currently seeing clients online and in the Elgin office.
