Choosing to participate in therapy, and ultimately choosing yourself, can be an amazing start to a wonderful journey. Taking those first steps may lead to a flood of emotions, but it is such an empowering feeling that builds true strength. I have known I have wanted to work in the mental health field since my teenage years, and that passion has not subsided. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2012, and then went on to earn my Masters of Counseling at Oakland University in 2017. I have obtained my LPC through years of experience in both individual and crisis settings. A lot of my experience has been in crisis work and partial hospitalization programs, and I am very excited to take my skill set to private practice and help those on a more individual basis. My work has allowed me to help people suffering from anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem/self-worth struggles, body issues, gender and sexuality struggles, anger management, family conflicts, and relationship issues. My passion for this field has helped improve my commitment, focus, inclusivity, compassion, and empathy. I will work hard to help guide you in your therapy journey the best way possible. Please reach out if you are interested in seeing if we would be a good fit!
