I consider it a privilege to work alongside others who are going through a difficult time. I have seen many occasions in which difficult times become transitions into a more meaningful and gratifying life. My desire is to build a trusting relationship with you so that you feel free to discuss any and all of your concerns. Together we will discuss your goals for change and the best way for us to achieve them.
I have over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy, as well as considerable experience prior to obtaining my Masters. As an adult, I have always been involved in some type of service and or church ministry that provides an avenue that helps people achieve a better life. Better by their definition, not what the world presents as happiness. My experience is with a wide diversity of people, with a wide array of concerns. I have experience with mental disorders, addiction, and those who have both. I have also invested much time and energy working with healthy individuals who are going through a difficult or transitional time. Some of my clients are Individuals who habitually find themselves disrupting their happiness by way of some type of self-sabotaging behavior. I can help you identify these patterns and stop the behavior.

I am also trained and experienced in providing Christian Counseling, for those individuals who specifically request this. However, I respect and provide treatment for anyone regardless of their religious or personal values.

I received My Masters of Counseling at Oakland University. Immediately after graduation, I was accepted into Oakland’s Mental Health Specialization Program which was an additional year of study in mental health disorders. In 2009 I completed a two-year program at Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute. This provided me with advanced training in psychodynamic interventions. I have also participated in extensive training in trauma and loss through The National Institute for Trauma and Loss Center.
