I have over 22 years of experience in the social service field working with children and families who have experienced trauma, family disruptions, and other significant life stressors. I have worked throughout the Chicagoland area in a variety of positions including case management, assessment, counseling, and supervision. My primary focus is working with adolescents and their caregivers to develop coping skills for managing mood and behavior difficulties such as depression, anxiety, acting out behaviors, and family conflict. I believe that families are the experts on their own needs and strengths. I have knowledge and training in several disciplines such as TF-CBT, MST, and ARC.
A Chicago native, I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago and Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University.
