My role as a mental health professional is to provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in need. My goal is to empower families and individuals through psychoeducation, supporting behavioral health, enhancing communication effectiveness, and managing emotional reactivity within a professional therapeutic environment. I continually strive to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns during their time in counseling.
I specialize in individual psychotherapy for ages six and older, family therapy, parenting support, LGBTQIA+ support, mood disorders, ADHD management, and behavioral health consultation. I am a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator for pre-marital and marital counseling.
I assist clients in identifying their personal, relational, and vocational goals as well as how to work toward achieving those goals. To help my clients reach their therapy goals, I can also assist clients in identifying potential community resources, spiritual communities, and social supports that can be utilized to enhance mental health and overall functioning.
As a proud owner of a neurodiverse (ADHD) brain, I'm a creative outside-the-box problem solver. I'm passionate about helping other neurodiverse individuals understand more about their ADHD brain and how it influences cognition, perception, emotional regulation, and interactional style within relationships.
Outside my life as a counselor, I am a nature enthusiast, sci-fi/fantasy lover, and enjoy spending my free time in libraries.
