Dr. Michelle Whitlock is a licensed clinical psychologist. She works primarily from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapeutic (ACT) style focusing on helping clients live and behave in ways that are consistent with their values. This style of therapy enhances the client’s ability to confront challenges that hinder living life to the fullest. Dr. Whitlock specializes in adult interventions for anxiety, trauma (PTSD), depression, and non-pharmacological interventions for pain management. She also has experience treating relationship issues, grief and insomnia. Dr. Whitlock completed her training at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago (M.A. and Psy.D.) and Eastern Illinois University (B.A.). Her clinical practice has included eight years of active duty military psychology treating both service members and their families, including two deployments to Afghanistan treating clients from many different nations.
