You can master out-of-control feelings and transcend ingrained ways of being. I specialize in treating constellations of issues involving emotion dysregulation, spiraling thoughts, self-destructive behavior (eating disorders, addiction, hyper-sexuality), distortions in sense of self, and interpersonal instability. I focus on psychosocial issues stemming from unresolved identity conflicts, family boundary violations, maladaptive family communication and interactional patterns, and addicted family systems. I also focus on relationship issues concerning intimacy, fidelity, communication, self-worth, and trust.
I approach treatment through an integrative lens, with an emphasis on psychodynamic, existentialist, humanistic, cognitive, and family systems methods. I value the cultivation of insight, exploring cognitive and emotional processes, and fostering awareness of relationship patterns as well as lifestyle patterns.
My objective is to help you function at your full potential and gain a sense of power over your mind and in your life. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy, whether you want relief from debilitating symptoms, you’re feeling off, lost or stuck, or if you’re seeking greater meaning in life. I take the role of both a guide and a fellow traveler.
