Hello there!

Welcome! I’m Sue Taylor! Please call me Sue!

I have 20 years’ experience as a psychotherapist and I specialize in helping adults with anxiety associated with depression, anxiety without depression, phobias (fear of specific types of things or situations) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I use Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my work with you.

I have several formal degrees, extensive advanced training in anxiety treatment, and am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional including:

Certificate, Clinical Practice of Cognitive Therapy, Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy.
Certificate, Primary Care Behavioral Health, University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Doctor of Behavioral Health, Arizona State University.
Master of Social Work, University of Michigan, Interpersonal Practice.
Master of Business Administration, University of Detroit Mercy.
Bachelor of Science, Psychology, Madonna University.
Bachelor of Arts, Human Resource Management, Spring Arbor College.

My Doctor of Behavioral Health degree really sets the standard for treating a whole person, because anxiety is a “whole body” problem. Most importantly here, is that I understand anxiety at a very deep and personal level.

I understand how you feel because I was you.

I suffered from panic attacks as a child and didn’t get any help until I was an adult. Many years and two kids later, as the anxiety and panic continued to rear its ugly head, I did my own research, found therapists that really cared, and started to figure out what to do and how to stop it. I didn’t want my kids to go through anything I went through, so I learned that all of life is a risk, uncertainty is a fact of life, and I could not only tolerate devastating anxiety and panic, but I could also make it go away for good, and I haven’t suffered from crippling anxiety or panic in decades.

I’m looking forward to working with you! Let’s get going! I can’t wait!
