Licensed Professional Counselor
Seeking therapy is a big step. As a therapist, I strive to create a comfortable environment where you can freely discuss any topic without fear of judgement. The "why" behind each individual's decision to seek therapy may differ from person to person - but I will always strive to be open-minded, understanding, empathetic, and ensure that therapy is a safe space for you. It is my main goal to establish a space where you can feel safe to share personal thoughts, issues, and concerns so that we can work through them together.
I received my master’s degree in counseling from Wayne State University. I am licensed in the State of Michigan as a Limited License Counselor. I have experience and enjoy working with various clients ranging from children to adults. My approach to the counseling process comes from multiple theoretical orientations. Some of my specialties include, but are not limited to, working with individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and LGTBQ+ community issues.
Therapy does not have to be scary. This is a place where we will work together to build a treatment plan that matches your short-term and long-term goals. I work with all clients to make sure that my counseling approach fits YOUR needs. I look forward to working together!
