Amanda Foster, LMSW
Licensed Master Social Worker
Hello! I am so glad you came across my page and are taking time to read this. My name is Amanda Foster and I am a fully License Masters of Social work Therapist in Michigan. As a therapist, I pride myself on having a trusting therapeutic approach that is non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. I stand by meeting all Individuals where they are at and aim to help guide them throughout their life journey. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or any significant life change, I believe it is very important to find someone you trust and feel comfortable with, and most importantly- to know you are supported throughout every obstacle you face.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Prolong Exposure Therapy (PET), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Seeking Safety with specialties in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss, and much more. I believe in having an integrated approach that addresses not only your mental health but physical health too! Self care is crucial part to your life and taking care of yourself in order to become the best version of you is one of my main focuses.
Together, lets start this new journey. Every life experience you have is an opportunity to learn and grow, which allows you to learn who you truly are as a person. Everyone deserves to live their life to their highest potential. I look forward to meeting you and helping you navigate this adventure of life with me.
