Licensed Master Social Worker
I believe that every person has the capacity for change, and the ability to create a better life. My job is to offer guidance, and support you in finding the answers you seek.
I work with teens and adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns including: anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am an EMDR trained clinician. I received my training through the EMDR Institute, founded by Dr. Francine Shapiro, the originator of EMDR.
My philosophy is strengths-based and person-centered. I believe each person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and I bring that attitude with me into every session and every interaction.
When you meet with me for therapy, I will help you bring your inner wisdom to the surface. I will also help you work through difficult emotions, and cultivate a growth mindset. If you are not happy with how things are right now, and you are ready to make a change, please reach out. I'm here to help.
