Aneta Pszczola, LMFT

Hello I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Illinois. I have had a passion for working with families and kids since I was a kid myself and feel fortunate to now be in a position where I can realize my dream of helping family systems!

I have extensive experience working with children and their families in a variety of settings, and offer a relaxed, person-centered approach to therapy. My goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable to share and process whatever you are facing at the time and be challenged appropriately when needed.

Much of my work has been with individuals (children and adults) who have various trauma histories. Through this work, I have found a deep passion for helping others understand how trauma impacts individuals and build resilience. I have been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and often use this model, in conjunction with play therapy, when working with children.
