Anna Orletski, LPC

Anna Kate Orletski is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with adults and adolescents. She is dedicated to assisting her clients in facing the many challenges that life brings and provides care to her clients by helping them reach their goals of finding relief, building skills, and changing perspectives. Anna follows a humanistic approach, meeting the client where they are and validating their lived experiences. Each client is viewed through a holistic framework outlining the importance of treating a person as a whole. The goal is to feel good, think good and be able to do good. This includes providing thorough assessments, referrals for management of physical health concerns and psychiatric care.

Anna understands the importance of searching for meaning in life through expression and creative problem-solving. She received her Master’s of Arts in Counseling with a specialty in Addiction from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and utilizes a variety of treatment approaches based on the presenting client’s needs such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Expressive Therapy and Experiential Therapies. Treatment typically involves coping skills, mindfulness, emotion regulation, assertive communication and the use of expressive arts. She specializes in assisting clients who are seeking therapy due to life transitions, ADHD, self-esteem, relationships, anxiety and chronic illness.
