Carolyn Brown, LMSW

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents (age 16+) and adults. I help clients gain a deeper understanding of the issues that interfere with their lives, offering support and guidance through a wide range of challenges.

My areas of focus include ADHD (diagnosed or suspected), anxiety, OCD, trauma, parenting struggles, ASD, abuse, domestic violence, PTSD, gender identity issues, family conflict, and depression. I am deeply mindful of the cultural factors that shape each person's values, language, and sense of self, and I work to create a supportive and respectful environment for every client.

I use a variety of cognitive behavioral techniques and emphasize psychoeducation rooted in evidence-based practices—delivered with compassion and a touch of common sense. Sessions are available both in-person and online to best fit your needs and schedule.
