Cheryl Zaabel, LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Hello! My name is Cheryl, thanks for stopping by!! I am a compassionate and caring clinician who values holding space for people as they navigate life’s journey through mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and process addictions. With over 30 years of experience working within family systems, I support individual adults, couples, and families in understanding how patterns of connection, attachment, and boundaries shape their lives.
I have worked across all levels of care, including hospital inpatient, outpatient, IOP, and PHP settings, as well as residential treatment through all levels to recovery homes. My experience spans working with individuals across the lifespan and within diverse milieus, allowing me to meet people where they are in their process with sensitivity and respect.
I believe that healthy relationships with others begin with a meaningful relationship with the self—one grounded in awareness, self-compassion, and emotional regulation. By deepening insight into internal experiences and relational dynamics, individuals are better able to engage in authentic, secure, and fulfilling connections. My work focuses on strengthening this inner foundation so individuals and families can create healthier, more intentional relationships with one another.
Please note: I do not provide documentation, letters, reports or other written verification of services.
