Christine Carlsson, LCPC

Sometimes we need help to gently untangle complicated situations, thoughts and emotions that are causing us pain and frustration. I walk alongside people on their journeys of hope and growth.

Together we can understand where the pain is coming from, set healthy boundaries, reduce conflict, regulate emotions and take committed concrete steps to a more joyful, satisfying life.

I have been a licensed clinical professional counselor since 2003. I have 20 years of experience in community mental health, school and private practice settings, allowing me to treat a wide variety of individuals and groups. I was trained in the Gottman method in 2020 which can help individuals improve their marriages. My therapy approach is hopeful, gentle and challenging, incorporating evidenced-based treatment modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy. I also specialize in existential and spiritual concerns.
