Licensed Master Social Worker
Welcome! I am dedicated to guiding you through the collaborative process of emotional healing, conflict resolution, and addressing challenges related to self-esteem and unresolved trauma. My passion is being a source of empathetic support, assisting you in identifying and breaking free from unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors that you're motivated to transform. I understand that sometimes motivation can be in short supply, and this is where my analytical pattern-recognition skills balance with compassion, providing you with quality care tailored to your unique and deeply personal needs.
In our sessions, we will work together to establish and actively utilize the most effective therapeutic approach, focusing on your individual concerns, goals, and strengths. While I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, I am trained and experienced in several theoretical approaches suitable for individuals across age-groups. These include Humanistic, Trauma-Focused CBT, Psychodynamic, Attachment Theory, and Dialectical/Mindfulness-based theories.
I am committed to understanding the complex interplay of personal and systemic factors impacting your quality of life. Recognizing the importance of intersectionality and cultural sensitivity, I create a fully safe and affirming environment for clients of all identities and backgrounds. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey towards healing, self-discovery, and fulfillment.
