Cynthia Packer, LICSW

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 30+ years of experience providing mental health therapy to people of all ages facing a wide variety of issues, I am passionate about this work. I provide a flexible, non-judgmental, collaborative approach in a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment focused on the whole person which fosters healing, rapport and resilience.

My focus currently is providing therapy for adolescents and adults experiencing a wide variety of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum issues, trauma, domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, substance use, relationship issues, and life transitions using a holistic, person-centered and strengths-based approach. I have experience working with people from diverse communities in both urban and rural settings. My approach utilizes evidence-based models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-focused therapies, Solution focused therapy, and Family Systems therapy among others.

I respect and appreciate that each person is a unique individual bringing their own history and experience as we work collaboratively together. Our time together will be focused on you and building a therapeutic relationship that works well for you wherever you are at during this time in your life.
