If the thought of starting therapy makes you feel like you're about to sit across from someone who will analyze everything you say, you're not alone. I believe therapy should feel different. I'm a down-to-earth therapist who values genuine connection, open conversation, and creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. You don't need to have all the answers—or even know exactly what you need to work on. We can figure that out together.

My approach is conversational, practical, and free of unnecessary jargon. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing practical tools for meaningful change. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you move forward in a way that feels realistic and manageable.

I've had a somewhat unconventional path to becoming a therapist. Before entering the mental health field, I was an entrepreneur, DJ, business manager, and gamer, among other things. Those experiences have helped me relate to people from many different backgrounds and walks of life. In 2015, I returned to school to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a clinical social worker, and I've been practicing full-time ever since.

My clinical experience began with nearly three years at Wolverine Human Services, working with adolescents ages 13–18 in a residential setting focused on mental health and juvenile justice.

Most importantly, I believe therapy doesn't have to be intimidating or overly clinical. If you're looking for someone who will talk with you like a real person, listen without judgment, and work alongside you toward meaningful change, I'd be happy to help.

Areas of focus include adolescent behavioral concerns, parent-child relationships, men’s mental health, and practical, real-world approaches to emotional well-being.
