Dominique Pasha, LMSW
Licensed Master Social Worker
As a dedicated and compassionate therapist with over 10 years of experience, I specialize in helping children aged 6-11 overcome emotional and behavioral challenges. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan (2010) and a Master's degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University (2022). My focus has been on working with children in the foster care system and in outpatient settings, where I've successfully supported youth struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues.
I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, to guide children toward healthier emotional expression, coping skills, and stronger relationships with their families. I understand the unique challenges young children face, and I work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that treatment is effective and empowering for the entire family.
My goal is to help children develop the confidence to express their feelings and advocate for themselves in a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment. I believe in the power of fostering trust and open communication with both the child and their family. By taking a person-centered approach, I empower children to identify their strengths and work toward emotional healing in a way that fits their unique needs.
If you’re looking for a therapist who can help your child navigate their emotional world and build stronger coping skills, I’m here to provide guidance and support every step of the way. Together, we’ll create a positive path forward for your child to thrive.
