If you've been struggling with life and circumstances, you are not alone. I applaud you for seeking out help with your challenges because it means that you are brave (stepping outside of your comfort zone) and that you have made the decision to do something about your mental health (also brave). If you need a good listener, somebody who is in your life to support you, somebody who is not afraid to encourage you to take control of your circumstances and mindset, and someone who can provide insight and education about mental health, I would love to meet with you! I have been a college sociology instructor for 15 years which has allowed me to have a lens and an understanding about how much of what we experience is often due to forces outside of our control. Feeling like we are not in control of our own lives can be miserable. My goal is to help you learn how to deal with life through empathy and empowerment. I can personally relate to so many issues that my clients face. I have dealt with anxiety, depression, trauma, body image issues, and so many other things in my personal life. We're all human and life can be really challenging sometimes. My training has taught me tools while my experience has allowed me insight into what you're going through.
