Grace McLagan, LICSW
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
When life gets too overwhelming, sometimes we need to process our experiences with someone. As a therapist, I support my clients while they work toward finding solutions to living a happier, more connected life. I believe that we all hold our own answers but sometimes need guidance on how to access those answers.
Coming from a background in psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and solution focused therapy, I support my clients as they reflect on their lives whether processing long term pain or focusing on a current life event.
With a history of working in the medical field, the non-profit sector, and in public schools I have a specialty in working with people in the helping professions (doctors, nurses, teachers etc.). This might look like improving work-life balance, sorting through career goals, processing co-worker dynamics and boundaries, or discussing the hard things we see and do in the caring professions.
