Janet Schiff, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin with experience in working with adults who struggle with or experience depression, panic disorders, anxiety disorders, dissociative identities, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, brain injury, memory challenges, and traumatic experience/loss.
The therapeutic modalities I draw from are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and evidence and strengths based care, training in behavioral neuroscience and extra training in suicide prevention.
As your therapist we work together to identify strengths, increase your coping skills, reduce negative thoughts and behaviors while increasing psychological health, recognizing patterns of behaviors that are destructive and work toward positive change. I am committed to understanding diversity and inclusion and strive to create a safe environment for all of my clients.
