Joanne Mesleh, LMSW

Hi, I’m Joanne, I am a fully licensed Social Worker and I specialize in individual sessions with young adults to older adults who are seeking support with life challenges and/or life transitions. I have personal and professional experience working with other young adults to older adults who struggle living in immigrant households. Sometimes it can be confusing when in the midst of trying to juggle two cultures simultaneously, which can make it hard to cope with life issues. I also have experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, family and relationship issues, coping skills, and loss.

I am passionate about building a trusting relationship with you, giving you a safe and non-judgmental space to speak freely, with a supportive person in your corner. My therapy approach is person-centered, with a focus on developing a deeper relationship with yourself and to target unwanted behaviors and/or patterns.
