Kate Bullard, SAC, LPC

Hi, I’m Kate! I bring a strong background in mental health and support services, along with a deep passion for helping others heal and grow. My journey began at Margaret Ann’s Place, where I volunteered and co-facilitated grief groups—an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of how we process loss and connect with others in difficult times.

I also had the opportunity to work at the Oconomowoc Development Training Center, supporting children and adolescents with mental health and developmental disorders. During my internship with Walworth County Health and Human Services, I led various groups focused on parenting and addiction recovery, which gave me a broader understanding of the challenges families face and the resilience they carry.

I have extensive experience working with the Kenosha and Walworth County Police and Fire Services, providing support to first responders—including police, fire, and EMT personnel. In addition, I collaborated closely with the Departments of Child and Family Services in both counties, assisting adjudicated youth and their families in addressing trauma, substance use, and parenting challenges. I also gained valuable clinical experience at Rogers Memorial Hospital, working across multiple departments with a strong emphasis on trauma and substance use treatment for adolescents.

More recently, I’ve had the privilege of supporting police officers and firefighters by providing mental health care tailored to the unique needs of first responders. Today, I focus my work on helping adults who are navigating the lasting effects of trauma, along with a wide range of mental health concerns such as phobias, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
