Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Are you struggling with feelings of anxiety, of depression, of that lingering “something’s gotta change, but I feel stuck”? When these feelings intensify or persist it can seem like change is impossible. Therapy can be a powerful pathway to getting unstuck.
My goal in working with clients is to help shift into greater clarity. I create an environment that is warm, open, and collaborative. Clients have shared they appreciate my ability to listen, hear what they’re really saying, and find patterns.
I look at the “whole person” and acknowledge the deep impact our past experiences have on our current functioning. So often the behaviors we seek to change come from a place of protection or survival. By tapping into our inherent resilience we can be more intentional with our responses.
I love working with clients newer-to-therapy. I’m well-suited in helping ease anxieties around the process and clarifying goals and needs in an empowering, human way. My down-to-earth nature, humor, and ability to really listen with curiosity allows people a space to find greater understanding, self-compassion, and healing.
If you’re looking for a judgment free zone that allows space for the messiness of figuring out what works best for you – let’s talk and see if we’d be a good match!
