“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy – the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
- Brené Brown -
Hey, I am so glad you are here. I understand you are feeling anxious or unsure about seeking help with enhancing and preserving your mental health. I know taking this initial step can be overwhelming and scary, but it’s never been more vital than now to begin your pursuit of healing. I would be honored to learn more about you, and if you allow me to, I will be here every step of the way.
I want you to know that this is a safe place where you will be seen, heard, and understood. You are valued, and here you will never be judged because this is your space, and you will have total control of what happens. I am simply here to help guide you as you navigate through your journey of growth.
I believe that people are meant to be vulnerable to increase self-awareness and strengthen their resilience. More importantly, I believe this can be you. What you share in your space is your story, and only you can tell it. Your vulnerability to explore dark emotions, speak ugly truths, and come to some unpleasant realizations is essential in your growth and owning your story.
My goal is to help you gain the confidence and skills needed to effectively overcome any roadblocks, whether it’s temporary or deep-rooted, short or long-term. I encourage you to trust the process and to be open-minded when new concepts and connections are presented to you. This will assist you in your path toward healing and help you lead a more fulfilling life every day, moving forward.
A little bit about me: I have a passion for helping others become more self-enlightened and sufficient to where they can lead a more satisfying life. I understand that everyone has different needs and beliefs, so the techniques I use are not centered around one specific therapeutic approach. I often incorporate techniques from several different therapeutic approaches to assist people in achieving their goals.
I work with people of all ages and of many diverse backgrounds, but most of my experience has been with children and families, adolescents, and adults from vulnerable settings. I primarily work with people who feel stuck, lost, and/or misplaced, struggling with anxiety and/or depression, experiencing difficulty adjusting to transitions, and people currently in crisis. Other specialty areas include but are not limited to trauma, grief and loss, substance use, neurodivergent traits, codependency, reactive attachment tendencies, impulsivity, and other maladaptive behaviors.
