Krystyna Kitlinski, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Hello! My name is Krystyna, and I am so glad you’re here! I got into counseling because I am deeply fascinated by the intricate ways in which individuals navigate their inner worlds and interact with those around them. This curiosity evolved into a profound commitment to understanding and supporting others, which ultimately led me to where I am today. I would like to be your advocate; I want to support you and push you to be the best version of yourself!
I have two years of licensed counseling under my belt, so I am a relatively new counselor in the field, but my educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in counseling principles, while my hands-on experiences have honed my skills in active listening, empathetic engagement, and effective intervention. I have worked with diverse populations, each with unique challenges and strengths, which has enriched my perspective and deepened my ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. Specifically, I have worked with individuals ages 11 to 65, discussing everything from anxiety, depression, family history, self-esteem, trauma, emotions, school stress and so on. My therapeutic attitude is more of a relaxed psychodynamic CBT style, I believe therapy does not always have to be serious, we do need to put in hard work, but it does not need to be all at once. I am committed to fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to embark on their journey towards healing and growth. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute my skills, knowledge, and passion to this vital field, and to continue learning and evolving as a counselor!
