What you can expect from me as your therapist is to be a supportive and nonjudgmental person in the background of your life, connecting with you to better understand your thoughts and emotions, and to define steps and skills to help you feel better. I do this with a couple of primary types of therapy: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) which I like to frame simply as “connecting the dots” between emotions, behaviors, and thoughts over a lifetime of experiences. I also implement DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) which covers communication, mindfulness and coping skills.   

I am passionate about partnering with my clients to meet their mental health goals, and live the quality of lives they want. I have practiced at most levels of care including inpatient hospitals, residential, and outpatient clinics. I believe therapy and mental health solutions should feel approachable, and I strive to offer this to my clients.
